A local deity is enshrined at Aritoshi shrine in Nagataki area.

Its origin was from the story that appears on “the Pillow Book” by Seisho Nagon and Zeami’s song “ant expert” etc. and Kino Tsurayuki’s poetry.

It has collected belief of the people who visit Kumano Sanzan.

You can also see valuable cultural assets such as a votive picture tablet of thirty six laureates of Waka poets and Hyakunin Isshu (one hundred poems by one hundred poets).
