An experience tour of ancient Japanese martial arts (Samurai).
The day before yesterday (on Dec. 20, 2024), I participated as an interpreter guide in a tour to experience ancient Japanese martial arts (Samurai).
We invited guests from India to the traditional Japanese house “Arai Residence” and received instruction in Iaido from Japanese champion Yoshizuka sensei. In addition to practicing Iaido, we were taught the etiquette of samurai, the reasons and background of why they do it, and the samurai spirit (gratitude and mutual respect). I have attached some photos of tall, handsome Indian samurais in the garden, where the autumn leaves are at their best right now.
